The spinning-top bottom has been threaded and decorated but is still left on the face plate

The male threads have been cut in the top of the spinning-top box and she is adding a shoulder to seat the bottom of the box

The bottom has been threaded onto the top and is now shaped to a point

The bottom of the spinning-top has been decorated with chatter work and color

The top of the box (spinning top) is having its handle shaped

A skew chisel is used to smooth out the end grain on the top surface
