Bowl and Wobbly Goblet

Chuck of Avocado Wood between centers

Flairing bowl shape with tenon to be held in scroll chuck

Bowl reversed ready to hollow

Surface smoothed and hollowing started

Shallow hollow established with center left intact for support

Shallow contour of bowl "rim" finished

Center bowl within bowl started

Center bowl deepened

Scraper used to remove center nub

Bowl contour completed

Bead at junction of rim and deep bowl adds distinctive detail

Jam chuck used to finish bottom of bowl

Ring freed and base parted off with undercut
