Trebuchet
For the 2003 AAW Symposium the Channel Islands Woodturners entered in the Club Challenge technical category a trebuchet. This is our stylized working rendition of a form of catapult with a sling. The design was developed from several plans available on the internet ranging in size from telephone pole assemblies to table top models. The group of club members who participated in this was ably led by our Vice-President, Jim Rinde, and included Warren Brown, David Frank, Al Geller, Ron Lindsay, Mike Mowrey, Bob Pettit, and Sam Turner.
